Have you heard of the Club Fest Frenzy? How about the Welcome Back Bash & Concert?
Both of these events are annual and occur in the latter end of August, shortly after the fall semester begins.
The Welcome Back Bash will occur on Friday, Aug. 21, from 7-10 p.m. It is free for registered Augusta University students. However, some activities during the gathering may incur a few costs, so be sure to check in with the event planner for more details.
The Bash begins with an electrifying pep rally at Christenberry Fieldhouse at 3109 Wrightsboro Road in Augusta.
During the pep rally, the AU athletic teams will be introduced to the incoming student body. This will give students the chance to find and support their favorite teams.
After the rally ends, there will be even more fun to be had. Students will take part in a high-energy takeover where they will win giveaways, participate in engaging activities, make meaningful connections with fellow students and attend a free concert.
Four days after the Welcome Back Bash & Concert concludes, the Club Fest Frenzy commences. Hosted by the Student Leadership and Organizations department, Club Fest is an annual event which is free for all attendees enrolled at AU. It is scheduled to take place in the Summerville Amphitheatre on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and at the Health Sciences Campus on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Club Fest is a high-energy event that serves as an opportune time for students to become more involved with their university community. During the event, attendees can expect to find a variety of organizations and clubs that fit their individual needs, skills and interests. Clubs and organizations expected to be present are fraternity and sorority life organizations, healthcare focused organizations, academic organizations, social clubs and student publications.
